Ruby red, convincing nose, on classic aromas of cherry and sour cherry, peppercorns and earth. The palate is brightened by a proportionate fresh/savoury vein and lively tannins. Colorino and Canaiolo are added to the principal variety used in the production of Chianti Classico, Sangiovese. The bouquet, with a pronounced scent of violets, is intense, while the flavor is dry and lightly tannic.
